Restorative Care
Fillings
If you have a tooth that is damaged due to dental caries, or decay, a filling can help to fill the cavity. After removing the bacteria and cleaning the tooth, we will apply a tooth-colored material, also known as composite resin, and cure it with a light. Once the filling is cured, the restoration is then polished and shaped to match the rest of your teeth.
Crowns
A dental crown, also known as “cap,” is utilized to restore cracked, broken, or fractured teeth. The crown is cemented onto the existing tooth and improves the strength, function, and esthetic of the tooth. The material used for your crown depends on the area of your mouth being restored, but is nearly always tooth-colored to match the rest of your teeth.
Bridges
A dental bridge is used to permanently close gaps between teeth. This restoration option is used when tooth loss occurs due to injury, gum disease, or decay. If left untreated, a missing tooth can have a greater impact on your dental health. It can cause your remaining teeth to shift, resulting in pain, discomfort, and an unsightly look to your smile. By closing these gaps, a bridge can help restore your dental health and maintain the position of your remaining teeth.
Root Canals
If a cavity has reached the pulp of a tooth, or dental trauma involving the pulp occurs, a root canal is necessary. This procedure involves cleaning out and disinfecting the interior of the tooth and removing the infected pulp, to alleviate discomfort and remove infection. To prevent future bacterial infections, the canals of the tooth are sealed, and the tooth is restored with a crown or filling. This helps add strength, stability, and function to the tooth structure.
Extractions
After your tooth has been removed, our team will work with you to determine what the best replacement option is for the tooth. Replacing the tooth ensures your bite remains aligned and your oral health is preserved.

Bonding
Bonding may be recommended if you are looking to close minor gaps and spaces between your teeth, adjust misshapen teeth, and restore chipped and cracked teeth. During the procedure, we will place composite resin on the tooth structure, where it will be sculpted to fit your tooth to improve the overall appearance of your smile.
Veneers
A dental veneer is a very thin porcelain shell, which is bonded to the front of each tooth to fine-tune your smile. Porcelain veneers are a more permanent alternative to bonding treatment that can correct more advanced imperfections of your smile. Porcelain veneers are stain-resistant, and we work very carefully to match your veneers to the natural appearance of your other teeth.
