Family Dentistry - Caribou, ME

Our History

In 1981, Dr. David Smith opened the doors of his beloved practice in Caribou. In 2017, Dr. Meagan Thompson joined Dr. Smith and they enjoyed working side by side in an endearing relationship for several years. Dr. Smith transitioned his practice to Dr. Thompson in 2019 to what is now Northern Maine Dental.

In 2021, Dr. Smith retired on his 73rd birthday, after 47 years in practice, and Caribou native and friend, Dr. Kjetil Rossignol joined the team. We relocated to our new space on the Access Highway in October of 2021 and look forward to serving you in our inviting space for years to come.

Dr. Thompson is thrilled to have returned to her hometown to serve the community so near and dear to her heart. She and her husband, Jon, live in Caribou with their son, Owen, and big goofy berner, Gus.
